Eligibility requirements and other details

• You are a new or readmit student registering for the fall 2020 term in a Strayer University bachelor’s degree program. You are not enrolling in a certificate, associates, masters, or DevMountain program.
• You meet Strayer University admission requirements.
• You are transferring in at least 30 qualifying quarter credits into your Strayer University bachelor’s degree. (Example of qualifying would be from a regionally accredited institution or ACE) 
• Unofficial transcripts can be used to determine eligibility, but official transcripts are required to award the tuition cap benefits. 
• Neither you, an immediate family member of yours, nor a household member of yours currently employed by the University, the University’s parent company, or any other subsidiary of the parent company (Strategic Education, Inc.).
• Once the tuition cap of $10,000 is reached, you no longer pay tuition, technology fees, or for the diploma conferral fee. Your course tuition and technology fees paid contribute to reaching the $10,000 tuition cap.
• You are required to pay for books and course materials with a separate method of payment for the duration of your program. These costs do not count towards the tuition cap and are not covered once you reach the tuition cap of $10,000.
• You will maintain good academic standing (GPA 2.0 or greater) and good financial standing.  If you do not, you may no longer earn towards the tuition cap or receive the tuition and fee benefits.
• If you fail to maintain good academic standing, in the quarter following the quarter when you fail to maintain good academic standing, the discount will be cancelled until such time that you return to good academic standing.
• If you drop or fail a course, that tuition charge or any pro-rata withdrawal fees will not accrue towards the $10,000 tuition cap. Only courses successfully completed count towards the $10,000 tuition cap.
• If you drop or fail a course after hitting the tuition cap, you will be responsible to pay the pro-rata withdrawal fees. The program will cover the course if you successfully re-take it. 
• Only courses successfully completed will be covered by the tuition cap benefits and not have a tuition or technology fee associated after reaching the $10,000 cap.
• If you choose to change to an ineligible program, discontinue, or withdraw (either actively or administratively) from Strayer, you will become ineligible for capped tuition. Under no circumstance will recipients be eligible for a cash payment or any other compensation for the value of unused tuition cap benefits.
• If you take two or more consecutive quarters off, you will be responsible to pay the pro-rata withdrawal fees. If you take two or more consecutive quarters off, you will permanently forfeit the tuition cap and any benefits associated.
• You will be held to academic consequences of withdrawing from or failing any course.
• This tuition cap benefit can be combined with the laptop offer, but may not be combined with any other scholarships, tuition discounts, or Graduation Fund. 
• You are not enrolled in a Degrees@Work program, or VerizonOnsite.
• In all cases, the tuition cap benefit program is at Strayer University’s discretion.

Eligibility Requirements:

• This tuition cap benefit may not be combined with other scholarships, tuition discounts, the laptop offer, or Graduation Fund; and you cannot be enrolled in a Degrees@Work program or VerizonOnsite.

• You meet Strayer University admission requirements.
• You are transferring in at least 30 quarter credits into your Strayer University bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.

• Once the tuition cap of $20,000 is reached, you no longer pay tuition, technology fees, or for the graduation application. Your course tuition and technology fees paid contribute to reaching the $20,000 tuition cap.
• You are required to pay for books and course materials with a separate method of payment for the duration of your program. These costs do not count towards the tuition cap and are not covered once you reach the tuition cap of $20,000.
• You will maintain good academic standing (GPA 2.0 or greater for undergraduate) and good financial standing. If you do not, you may no longer earn towards the tuition cap or receive the tuition and fee benefits.
• If you fail to maintain good academic standing, in the quarter following the quarter when you fail to maintain good academic standing, the discount will be cancelled until such time that return to good academic standing.

Eligibility requirements and other details

• Books, supplies, and other fees apply.
• Developmental courses (08X/090/091), transfer credits, courses completed prior to readmission, and courses passed by placement exam are excluded from this program and do not count toward earning tuition awards. Fund must be redeemed for final courses leading to the completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Successful completion means earning the grade required by the curriculum as outlined in the Strayer University catalog.
• New or returning students enrolling in bachelor’s or master’s degrees (graduate students must be enrolled on or after summer 2020 quarter) are eligible. Some groups of students may not be eligible including, but not limited to: students enrolled in a non-degree program, certificate program, associate’s program, or JWMI program, any Strayer University employee (and employees of any of its affiliates or Strategic Education, Inc.) and their dependents, adjunct faculty and their dependents, or students enrolled through Degrees@Work.
• Unless specified in another offer’s eligibility rules, you cannot combine the Graduation Fund with additional offers. Some of the offers that the Graduation Fund cannot be combined with include, but are not limited to: the Supplemental Assistance scholarship, the Experienced Student Completion scholarship, the Law Enforcement Tuition Assistance program, Complete@Strayer Community College program, and the $10,000 and $20,000 Bachelor’s Transfer Tuition Cap offers.
• Tuition credit is earned only after successfully completing courses and will be lost if you do not take courses for two consecutive quarters.
• Students already receiving scholarship aid from Strayer University may not be eligible.
• Students receiving tuition assistance from their employers through agreements with Strayer University may not be eligible.

Referral Scholarship eligibility requirements

• You must be referred by a Strayer University student or alumni.
• You must be a new student registering for any 2021 term for any eligible Strayer University program. 
• This scholarship does not include Degrees@work, or Verizon Onsite. 
• In all cases, the scholarship is at the discretion of the school.
• You must complete at least one course in your first quarter to remain eligible.
• You must meet all Strayer University admission requirements by program.
• This scholarship may be combined with other scholarships or tuition discounts.  
• The scholarship will be applied as a single disbursement of $500 during the referred student's second quarter.
• Referred students who do not complete a class in their second quarter will forfeit the scholarship.
• No refunds will be issued on unused scholarship dollars. 
• You must maintain good academic standing (undergraduate GPA 2.0 or greater, graduate GPA 3.0 or greater).
• You must be in good financial standing with the university ($0 past due balance).
• Scholarship applies to course tuition only, all other books and fees must be paid with a separate method of payment.
• If your tuition is billed to an employer or sponsor, the scholarship is applied first to tuition charges, and then the sponsor is billed the net tuition amount (to the extent tuition benefits are available).
• No referred student, immediate family member or household member may be currently employed by the university, the university's parent company, or any other subsidiary of the parent company.

Alumni Scholarship eligibility requirements:

• You must be a graduate of a Strayer or Capella University Bachelor’s program.
  
• You must be a new student registering for the winter, spring, summer or fall 2021 terms for any eligible Strayer University graduate program. 
  
• This scholarship does not include Degrees@work, or Verizon Onsite. 
• In all cases, the scholarship is at Strayer's discretion.
• You must complete at least one course in your first quarter to remain eligible.
• You must meet all Strayer University admission requirements by program.
• This scholarship may be combined with the Graduation Fund, but cannot be combined with any other scholarships/tuition discounts.  
• This scholarship will be applied to the student's account in four equal disbursements of $1,000 during the student's second, third, fourth and fifth quarters after starting coursework in the program. If a student does not complete a course during a quarter where the scholarship is disbursed, the student forfeits that disbursement.
• No refund will be issued on unused scholarship amounts.
• You must maintain good academic standing (GPA 2.5 or greater). In any quarter following the quarter where a student fails to maintain good academic standing, disbursements will be forfeited until the student returns to good academic standing.
• You must be in good financial standing with the university ($0 past due balance).
• This scholarship applies to course tuition only. All other books and fees must be paid with a separate method of payment. 
• For students whose tuition is billed to an employer or sponsor, the scholarship is applied first to tuition charges, and then the sponsor is billed the net tuition amount (to the extent tuition benefits are available).
• No student, immediate family member, or household member may be currently employed by the university, the university's parent company, or any other subsidiary of the parent company.
